This Privacy Policy explains what information Dragonfire-Hub (“we”, “us”, or “the Site”) collects when you visit dragonfire-hub.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are committed to a privacy-first, cookieless, no-advertising approach.
1. Overview
Dragonfire-Hub is a fan-made companion website for the mobile game Game of Thrones: Dragonfire. The Site is provided free of charge, requires no account or login, and is designed to collect the minimum amount of data necessary to function. We never sell your data, and we do not run third-party advertising networks.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Browser-only preferences
Dragon configurations, saved lineups, time tracker entries, and tier-maker layouts you create are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser and is not visible to us. You can clear it at any time from your browser’s settings.
2.2 Minimal usage analytics
We run a small first-party, cookieless analytics script to understand how the Site is used. The data collected is limited to: the pages you view, your approximate country, your browser and device type, and general click activity (such as which buttons are pressed). We do not set cookies, we do not store IP addresses, and we do not use cross-site tracking.
2.3 Contact form
If you contact us through the form on the About page, we receive the name, email address, and message you choose to provide. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
3. How We Use Information
- To operate and maintain the Site and its features.
- To understand which content is most useful and prioritize improvements.
- To detect and diagnose technical errors or abuse.
- To respond to messages you send us.
We do not build advertising profiles or do automated profiling.
4. Third-Party Services
The Site links to, or integrates with, the following third parties. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare — edge hosting and Web Analytics. Cloudflare processes IP addresses transiently at its edge for network security and geolocation; see their Privacy Policy.
- Google Play / Apple App Store — outbound links to the official game listings. These platforms may set their own cookies when you visit them.
5. Your Rights
If you are in a region with comprehensive privacy laws (such as the EU/UK GDPR or CCPA in California), you have the right to:
- Request access to or a copy of data we hold about you;
- Request correction or deletion of that data;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out);
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any right, email contact@dragonfire-hub.com. To opt out of analytics collection entirely, you can enable a tracker-blocking extension or use Private/Incognito mode.
California residents (CCPA): Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. There’s no “Do Not Sell” link because nothing is sold or shared.
6. Retention & Security
Analytics data is kept only for as long as it remains useful, then purged. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.
We protect data with HTTPS everywhere, minimized collection, and Cloudflare’s edge protections. No system is 100% secure, so we reduce risk by collecting as little as possible.
7. Changes & Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and material changes will be posted on this page.
Questions or requests regarding this Privacy Policy can be sent to contact@dragonfire-hub.com, or via the contact form.
